2. WHAT DATA WE COLLECT

Registration information:

  • Email address

  • Birth year

Personal preferences (collected during onboarding):

  • Favorite color(s)

  • Favorite animals

  • Favorite activities and things they love to do

AI-generated story content:

  • Personalized stories created through conversation with our AI character, based on the preferences above. These stories are stored on our servers and associated with your account.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your account

  • Personalize your experience and generate your unique story

  • Store and display your AI-generated story within the Service

  • Communicate with you about the Service

  • Comply with our legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY (COPPA)

Our Service is available to users of all ages.

IF YOU ARE UNDER 13 YEARS OLD:

We are required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) to obtain verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before we collect any personal information from you. This includes your name, email address, birth year, favorite color, favorite animals, favorite activities, and any AI-generated story content.

How parental consent works:

  • We will collect the parent or guardian's email address at registration

  • We will send a consent request to that email before activating the account

  • No personal information will be stored or used until consent is confirmed

  • The account will not be created until a parent or guardian approves

Parent and guardian rights:

  • Review the personal information and story content we have collected from your child at any time

  • Request correction or deletion of your child's information and stories

  • Refuse further collection or use of your child's information

  • Withdraw consent at any time

IF YOU ARE 13 OR OLDER:

You may use the Service and provide your own consent to data collection by agreeing to these terms.

5. AI-GENERATED STORY CONTENT

Through conversation with our AI character, we create a personalized story

based on your preferences. Please be aware that:

  • Story content is stored on our servers and associated with your account

  • Story content may be reviewed by our team to improve the Service

  • We do not share your story with other users without your permission

  • You may request deletion of your story content at any time by contacting us at privacy@woanderworld.com

6. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

We retain your personal information and story content only as long as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data — including preferences and story content — at any time by contacting us at privacy@woanderworld.com. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days.

7. DATA SECURITY

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. YOUR RIGHTS
